About Dick Post

Born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago in the Beverly Hills area. St Barnabas Grammar School and then on to Mt. Carmel High School. After graduating from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, I went for nearly two years to John Marshall Law School. One of the classes that I took was a Real Property class, which inspired me to enter the Real Estate field. After working for a short time with a Real Estate office, I opened my own office in July of 1973 in Oak Lawn. 

Over the next 46+ years or so, I had as many as 5 real estate offices in Chicago and Southwest suburbs where we had over 125 sales agents and had sales of $125 million dollars.

I raised my family - four daughters and a son - in the Palos area, and have lived there for over 40 years.

My goals have always to provide "Excellence in Service" for my clients, giving the highest degree of integrity and remembering the golden rule "do what ever is best for them."

Specialties: Having sold residential real estate for 46-plus years I further developed into the Commercial Real Estate field by taking all of the required Certified Commercial Investment Members classes, giving expertise in analyzing Investment properties for both sellers and buyers. Along with two of my daughters, I am still helping buyers and sellers in Orland Park, Tinley Park, Palos Park, Palos Heights, Oak Forest, Mokena, Frankfort, and numerous other South/Southwest Chicago communities.
