About John Bohnen

Parlaying a background in commercial construction and development with his wife’s established residential real estate career, the Bohnens created County Line Properties in John’s hometown of Hinsdale, where he has spent the majority of his life. As Managing Broker, John attends to the daily management of the business, as well as assisting County Line Properties’ agents in the pursuit of sales and in the negotiations necessary to bring a deal to fruition.

John has long been an active participant in many aspects of the Hinsdale scene, currently serving as the Chairman of the Historic Preservation Commission. He and Penny recently opened the County Line Home Design Center, which strives to bring thoughtful solutions to homeowners, as they embark upon high-end renovations or new construction projects.
